Send Parts To Work Order or Mobile Warehouse| Selected Record

Enables you to send Parts from a Material Requisition that was created from a Work Order. This tool is used by a warehouse manager who has access to see all Parts in Inventory and can distribute parts from warehouse locations that the Employee requesting Parts can't see.

This toolkit runs two different ways depending on the Work Option > Parts > Force disbursal from mobile warehouses:

Scenario 1:

  • If the Work Option is off,
  • Then by running this toolkit, parts are disbursed to the Work Order by updating the Actual Units on the Material resource on the Work Order.

Scenario 2:

  • If the Work Option is on,
  • And a mobile warehouse is listed as an equipment resource on the Work Order linked to this Material Requisition,
  • Then the following occurs: [instead of disbursing parts to the work order, we're putting it to mobile warehouse ideally that you have access to]

    • The Parts (Materials) are transferred to the mobile warehouse (Equipment Resource) that is listed on the same Work Order Task as the Materials.
    • A Parts Transaction record is created stating that the Parts were transferred to the mobile warehouse to be used on the Work Order.
    • Units are not filled out on the Materials on the Work Order Task. Material Units must be manually entered. Then Parts will be automatically disbursed from the mobile warehouse.
